There was no special turkey and pie dinner for the family of Hollywood’s ‘It’ couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt even as rest of America celebrated Thanksgiving as the actress reportedly hates the tradition.
The Academy award winning actress does not celebrate Thanksgiving because she associates it with the cruel treatment meted out to the native Indians by the white settlers, reported Fox News online.
“Jolie hates this holiday and wants no part in rewriting history like so many other Americans,” said a source close to the actress.
“To celebrate what the white settlers did to the native Indians, the domination of one culture over another, just isn’t her style. She definitely doesn’t want to teach her mult-cultural family how to celebrate a story of murder,” added the source.
The 35-year-old actress brings up a family of six children with partner Pitt, 45.
She has three adopted children, Maddox, 8, from Cambodia, Pax Thien, 7, from Vietnam and Zahara, 5, from Ethiopia.
The couple also have three biological children Shiloh, 4 and 2-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
