Delhiites can now get real-time information on buses and metro trains on their fingertips through a new mobile app that will help them travel around the Capital in a hassle-free manner. The public transport app, Ridlr, built by the creators of Traffline, is designed to make travelling in Delhi easier and more predictable.

Developed by Bird’s Eye Systems, Ridlr factors in roadblocks and diversions before suggesting the best mode of transport across destinations at any given point in the day. With Ridlr, people can locate the nearest bus stop and metro station and get instant information on the latest time-tables of all available modes of transport.

Bird’s Eye Systems chief technology officer Ravi Khemani said here recently that Ridlr, which has gone live in the Capital, was available for all Android smart phones free of charge and would allow the users of the app to download the public transport time-tables in their phones.

Users can save their regular routes as favourites for easy access on a daily basis. Designed to make the user experience comfortable and convenient, Ridlr has a sleek and attractive interface with all features in an easy-access menu, said Mr. Khemani.
