SCR takes feedback on cleanliness

South Central Railway General Manager Ravindra Gupta participated in the ‘Rail Hamsafar Saptaah’ at Secunderabad on Thursday, as part of the week-long cleanliness drive between May 26 and June 1, launched across Indian Railways, by inspecting every nook and corner of the station with officials.

He went around the Secunderabad station participating in cleanliness activities by personally checking the mechanised cleaning machines on the platforms and the circulating area, the drinking water facility, waiting rooms, toilets and the like. He underscored the need for cleanliness to be maintained at its ‘optimal best’, in tune with passenger expectations.

The GM boarded several trains and checked the interiors, also interacted with passengers to seek their views on the levels of cleanliness on board the trains.
