Body of migrant worker found on tracks

The body of a migrant labourer, identified as Jagabandhu Karkaria, aged around 24 and a native of Odisha, was found in a mutilated condition on the railway tracks near Nemom early on Tuesday.

According to the Nemom police, the body was noticed by local people around 7 a.m., after which it was shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital morgue. The police, who identified him with the help of an identity card found on the body, have found that he was reportedly working with a bakery in Thrissur. A team from here will go to Thrissur on Wednesday. The body, after autopsy on Wednesday, will be handed over to relatives,.
