PM’s advisor Arvind Subramanian to launch cashless ePOS

: Prime Minister’s Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian will launch cashless ePOS facility at Gannavaram near here on Saturday.

Krishna district Collector Babu A on Friday said that Dr. Subramanian would examine the implementation of Aadhaar-enabled welfare schemes. Director General of the Unique Identification Authority of India (Aadhaar) Ajay Bhushan Pandey would also visit to study the system being followed in the State. They would visit Gannavaram and Bapulapadu mandals to study the ePOS, ePanta, distribution of fertilizers, micro ATMs, distribution of pensions through intra-operable system, employment guarantee scheme works, and payment of wages of coolies directly into banks accounts, he said.
