Allcargo Logistics rebrands its global business

Updated - May 03, 2016 05:41 am IST - MUMBAI:

India’s leading logistics firm Allcargo Logistics Ltd has announced the rebranding of its global subsidiaries, ECU Line, Econocaribe and China Consolidators as ‘ECU Worldwide’.

Shashi Kiran Shetty, Chairman, Allcargo Logistics, said, “The name ECU-Worldwide heralds the start of a new chapter. This is in line with our vision to become a $2 billion revenue organisation by the year 2020.”

“The new name signifies more than just a rebranding of our group companies. It provides us with the impetus to deliver more, create new products and proactively propose solutions to surpass client expectations to help achieve our ambitious growth targets,” Mr Shetty added in a statement.

He said the main objective behind this exercise was to change the perception of the company from being just a shipping line player to an integrated ‘logistics solution provider’. “The rebranding is to have one global brand keeping in mind that its companies operate under different brands in USA, Shanghai and UK,” the company said.

ECU Line, a global leader in providing LCL (Less than Container Load) services, was acquired by Allcargo Logistics in 2006. Econocaribe, one of the largest Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers in the USA, became part of ECU Line’s family in 2013.
