With the Prime Minister turning the attention of the nation to cleanliness – with special focus on sanitation facilities in schools – the Union Human Resource Development Ministry has stepped up its efforts to ensure that all government schools have toilets by Independence Day next year.
This was flagged by HRD Minister Smriti Irani at the State Education Secretaries meeting here on Tuesday.
