It was running successfully in these cinemas. The film was shot in 34 days in and around Mangaluru at a cost of Rs. 85 lakh. The film had three songs.

The story of the film revolved around three friends and also the game of kabaddi. Another specialty was that some kabaddi players, who had played at the State and national levels, too had acted in this film.

The film was also screened at the international film festival in Bengaluru on February 3.

The production values and treatment of screenplay of the film was comparable to high-quality Malayalam films. The film will be released at the Alankar Theatre in Udupi, where it will have four shows daily, while there would be one show (6.15 p.m.) at Central Cinemas in Manipal, he said.

The actors in the film are Jyotish Shetty, Naveen D. Mr. Ranjan Shetty said that all producers and directors of Tulu films should hold a meeting immediately and discuss the matter of releasing Tulu films.

There should be a reasonable gap between the release of two Tulu films or else the business of all Tulu films would be affected.

The number of Tulu films being produced and release was going up in the region.
