Call to upgrade Attur GH

The Attur Chamber of Commerce has urged the State Government to upgrade the Attur Government Hospital into a district headquarters hospital.

A resolution to this effect was adopted at the general body meeting of the Chamber held at Attur near here recently. The Chamber also demanded the government to create a new district with Attur as headquarter. Another resolution pleaded with the Railway Ministry to take effective steps for executing the new railway line laying project between Attur and Perambalur towns. L.R.C. Ravisankar, president of the Chamber, presided.
