The Chennai – Madurai – Chennai air-conditioned Duronto Express will halt at Salem Junction on both directions from January 4, 2016 (from Chennai to Madurai) and from January 5 (from Madurai to Chennai).
The train No. 22205 Chennai – Madurai Duronto, which will leave Chennai Central at 10.30 p.m., will arrive at Salem Junction at 2.55 a.m. the next day. It will depart at 3.05 a.m. and will reach Madurai at 7.10 a.m.
The train No. 22206 Madurai – Chennai Central Duronto will leave Madurai at 10.45 p.m. and will arrive at Salem Junction at 2.20 a.m. the next day. It will depart from Salem at 2.30 a.m. and will reach Chennai Central at 7.15 a.m.
The reservation for tickets for journey from Salem on both ways commenced on Thursday, an official press release of Salem Railway Division issued here said.
