Trade unions plan stir
KOLKATA, MARCH 3. Major central trade unions have threatened to
call a nationwide strike to condemn the budget proposals and
would observe March 14 as protest day.
They include the CITU, the INTUC and the AITUC. In a statement,
the State CITU secretariat today said workers all over West
Bengal affiliated to the unions would join a rally on the protest
day.
