Serve with honour, officers told

CHENNAI, MAR. 3. Science and technology have always had a profound effect on warfare, Lt. Gen. R. K. Sawhney, Deputy Chief of Army Staff, said today.

Addressing the newly commissioned officers of the OTA after reviewing the passing out parade, he said that they should strive to set personal examples and remember that honesty, unquestionable integrity and self accountability would enable them to `serve with honour'- the motto of OTA.

Academy under officer T.Shashidaran received the sword of honour for the best all round gentleman cadet and Senior under officer Samika Shivran got a gold medal in the all round best lady cadet category.
