Lok Janshakti to take out 'vilambara yatra'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 3. The Lok Janshakti will take out a
seven-day `janshakti vilambara yatra' from Manjeri in Malappuram
district on March 11 to the State capital to awaken the people of
Kerala to demand the due share from the Centre and international
institutes.
The State president of party, Prof. Jayalekshmi, told a press
conference here today that the Union Communications Minister, Mr.
Ram Vilas Paswan, will inaugurate the `vilambara' meeting
scheduled to be held at the Rajendra Maidan in Ernakulam on March
10.
She also announced the first list of office-bearers of the party
in the State. Mr. T. K. Hamsa, Mr. Taryan Joseph and Mr. O. P.
Ibrahim have been appointed as vice-presidents, Mr. Jaydeep, Mr.
K. V. Kumaran, Mr. K. G. Mohan and Mr. Kalapremi Basheer as
general secretaries and Mr. E. K. Joseph as treasurer.
Mrs. Sreedevi has been appointed as the State Mahila janshakti
president, Dr. Ramachandran Nair as media wing chairman, Dr.
Saratchandran as academic wing chairman, Dr. Ezhamangalam
Karunakaran as the chairman of the cultural wing and Mrs. Renu
Rajan P. Thodiyoor as the chairperson of IT wing.
Mr. V. S. Mohankumar has been appointed as president of
Thiruvananthapuram unit, Mr. Vatiyoorkavu O. A. Rasheed, Mr.
Kadavil Raasheed, Mr. Jhony and Mr. Ajitkumar as secretaries.
