A smart head on young shoulders is how one can describe fashion designer Yuvraj Singh Nagpal. Yuvraj recently unveiled his spring summer collection at his studio in Lado Sarai.

His collection has shades of Indian culture with a tinge of the West. Present are Lukhnowi kurtas for women matched with Spanish trousers and linen tops with printed trousers. The collection has been given a feminine look with soft colours like pink, green and blue. The ensembles made from crepe and chiffon are hand crafted with pink tucks and brocade. Also available are well-crafted and designer saris, which according to Yuvraj are modern in intent, yet carrying a timeless grace. These are priced at Rs.12000 onwardsLinen trousers and shirts comprise the men's collection. For the wedding season, Yuvraj offers a wide range of Luknawi suits with attractive accessories to go with them. The designer shirts and trousers are priced between Rs.1500 and 2400.

"Through my collection I want to cater to a wide age group, from 17 to 70.There is a lot of variety in my shades of green, pink, white and blue," says the product of JD Institute of Fashion.

Other high point of this collection is the accessories. There are Luknawi scarves and shoes complimenting the collection.

Ten years down the line Yuvraj wants himself leading a chain of showrooms.
