With the city reeling under severe summer, here comes a Dessert Festival offering customers a range of specially prepared weekly rotating desserts

COOL STUFF: Café Coffee Day's offering to beat the summer heat
With mercury rising by the day, the restaurants are changing their menu to suit changing demands. Following the trend the Café Coffee Day has come up with its cooling effect with a refreshing Dessert Festival in the 25 selected cafes across the Capital and the NCR.
The café is organising a three week-long special Dessert Festival, continuing till the month-end. During this period one can enjoy a huge range of specially prepared weekly rotating desserts.
"The festival is all about new desserts and getting customers to try different flavours...we are excited with the response of our customers," says Shabri Prabhakar, Marketing Manager, Café Coffee Day.
Altogether there are 35 new flavours of the desserts. Especially for those who have a sweet tooth, some of the exciting offerings are Tiramisu, German Black Forest, Mousse Berry and Cherry Crumble Pie, Blueberry Muffin and Thai Mango Mousse.
"The new menu is devised after conducting a personal research among the customers about their tastes and preferences for the season," says Jitin, of the Food and Beverage team. "We have tried to keep an introductory price of the desserts. They have been priced between Rs.20 and 55," tells Shabri.
