Formed after the 2008 delimitation, the Bhadohi Lok Sabha constituency comprises the Assembly seats of Pratappur, Handia, Bhadohi, Gyanpur, and Aurai. While in 2009, Bahujan Samaj Party’s Gorakh Nath Pandey won the seat, it has since then been with the Bharatiya Janata Party. In 2014, Virendra Singh Mast won the seat for BJP with 41.10% of the votes, and Rameshchand Bind retained it in 2019, polling 49.05% votes.
BJP won 3 times and BSP won 1 times since 2009 elections.
