Quirkily named ‘How to Skin a Giraffe’, is inspired by ‘Leonce and Lena’ by Georg Büchner, which is considered a comedy and apparently, is Büchner’s only humorous work. Büchner takes a satirical look at some of his favourite subjects such as idleness, boredom, love, autocratic government and using people as puppets.
With the addition of live music, songs and movement combined with a colourful set, ‘How to Skin a Giraffe’ adds vibrancy to Büchner’s original work.
