Getting from 0 to 100 in a pretty quick way might make you think of Virat Kohli. But we are talking about Audi R8 V10 Plus that zips from 0 to 100 in just 3.2 seconds. Its top seep is 330 km/h and it the fastest Audi. To test its pace Audi India called none other than the man in golden touch himself, Virat Kohli, at the Aero Strip on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

R8 V10 Plus, available at Rs.2.55 crores ex-showroom Maharashtra, was certainly unveiled in style. It was a special event as we witnessed the Indian star cricketer racing on the runway. And the event was the first-time-ever display of the entire product portfolio of Audi. It offered an opportunity to test drive different vehicles on different tracks.

To start with, we drove the Q series cars on muddy terrains testing their SUV capabilities. There were pits, slush, climbs and descends. All of that to challenge the big and tough machines. The Quattro system was in play and the suspension was at its best. That showcased the true character of the Q-series cars.

Next, we moved to get behind the wheel of RS6 Avant. We drove it on the aviation strip in a controlled environment with marshals around. All we had to do was hold ourselves back and accelerate as hard as we could. It was an exhilarating experience as we drove with no fear of unruly traffic. But, then we changed to different vehicles. Tested the sportier RS7, then S5 and then TT coupé.

Following our stint with speed on the aviation strip we went on a scenic drive in A3 cabriolet. This was like a normal test drive of a vehicle which was again not for long.

Finally, got a chance to test drive R8 V10 Plus, the car that has 610 horse power. In no time we were flying. That, I would say is not for the weak-hearted.
