Sony TV's ‘Bade acche lagte hain' is set to woo the Telugu viewers as ‘Nuvvu nachchav' on Gemini TV from tomorrow

The buzz created around the ‘intimate scenes' in Bade achche lagte seem to have given its makers new ideas. They have now decided to telecast it in Telugu for the south audience, in a dubbed version. Titled Nuvvu nachchav , this Ram Kapoor-Sakshi Tanwar serial will be telecast on Gemini TV in the afternoon slot. It remains to be seen though if this ‘middle-age love story will gain viewership especially after the Hindi serial had inconsistent TRPs.

However, Balika Vadhu as Chinnari pelli koothuru on Maa TV is still going strong. In fact the serial was so popular that Avika Gor (who played child Anandi) was used by the channel in a big way to promote one of their events last year and she proved to be quite popular with the Telugu audience. Another dubbed Hindi serial which is on air is Pratigya as Pavitra on Maa TV.

If anyone had doubts about these serials being accepted among the south audience, rest assured these serials are being lapped with the same gusto.

That these soaps have a traditional north Indian backdrop for their storyline does not make any difference. Rajasthan or Rajahmundry, we are united in our soap sensibility.
