11 members of a family found dead in Delhi: police

Four girls and three women, among others, found hanging with their eyes blindfolded.

In a mysterious situation, 11 members of a family, including four girls and three women, were found hanging with their eyes blindfolded at their home in North Delhi's Sant Nagar on Sunday morning.

A PCR (police control room) call was received at 7.30 a.m. from Sant Nagar area in Burari, reporting suicide.

A police team rushed to the spot and found 11 persons, including minors and women. hanging from an iron grille inside the house.

No suicide note was recovered from the house.

Police suspect it a case of suicide pact as each person was found with a piece of cloth wrapped around their eyes, which were stuffed with cotton.

The bodies have been shifted to mortuary.
