The Delhi government will endorse the declaration and pledge to reduce emissions and air pollution in a set time frame on October 11 at the Tivoli Conference Centre in Copenhagen. The summit will be held from October 9-12.

Mr. Kejriwal will address a joint press conference with the Mayors of Paris, Los Angeles, Portland, and Barcelona; as well as the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, and Governor of Jakarta, read an official statement.

“The CEO of the C40 Summit, Mark Watts, will meet Mr. Keriwal to discuss Delhi’s continued participation in the Climate Leadership Group and the ways in which Delhi could play a larger role towards fighting climate change,” read the statement.
