Saturday turned out to be a spectacular day for hundreds of shoppers at Inorbit Mall in Madhapur. Apart from shopping, they had the opportunity to witness some breath-taking motorcycle stunts.
Five professional bike riders – Mikhil, Abhishek, Senthil, Saravana and Srikanth from Tamil Nadu and Kerala exhibited their expertise with the two-wheelers while performing stunts that left visitors awestruck. Bajaj Auto Limited had organised the event. Right from ‘wheelies', ‘burnouts', ‘donut', and ‘slinky stoppies', jaw-dropping stunts by the riders entertained visitors, especially youngsters, with their skills with wheels.
Each of the stunts was greeted with a huge applause and teenagers got busy capturing this visual treat on their mobile phones.
One rider started at a speed of less than 10 km per hour while presenting the ‘donut' feat. He stood up on the pegs of the seat and pulled in the clutch to roll freely. After shifting the body weight to the front, he put light pressure on the front brakes and slowly released the clutch to get the rear wheel rotating and then titled the bike close to the ground, amidst cheers from the audience.
He maintained right balance between the front brake and clutch and kept moving forward with the rear wheel rotating. “It's really an amazing feat. I have never witnessed such a daredevil stunt before,” said a viewer.
