In the light of Intermediate results fiasco, the government has decided to be extra careful in the valuation and tabulation of marks for the SSC exam results to be released soon.

A meeting of senior officials directed those responsible for valuation and tabulation to be cautious while checking the answer scripts with zero marks.

The meeting chaired by B. Janardhan Reddy, Secretary, Education; T. Vijay Kumar, Director of School Education; and B. Sudhakar, Director of Government Examinations, also felt that re-verification of results should be done for students who have passed in all the subjects, but one. Similar orders for verification were given for scripts where marks were not mentioned.

The meeting also wanted the officials to ensure that the exam results’ link was available to all students soon after the results were released and establishment of an online mechanism to clear doubts and objections raised by the students.
