SCR opens ‘Fresh Up’ facility on pay-by-the-hour basis

If train travel gets tiring, you can take a small break at Kacheguda station to freshen up at the new ‘Fresh Up’ facility that was opened on Friday.

Unique experience

The air-conditioned facility, managed by the IRCTC, is for short stay on pay-by-the-hour basis which offers passengers a unique experience. Services like round-the-clock hot/cold shower, toiletries, Internet, luggage drop facility, coffee and others would be offered. Four packages – chaise lounge, bunker bed, double room and bunker room – are available for one hour to 24 hours with prices ranging from ₹149 to ₹3,199, but no charge for children below six years.
