Additional bus services to Tiruchendur from various places were operated by Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation. The arrival of devotees to the Tiruchendur temple was on the rise since 2007, sources said. But many devotees said that the approach roads to the temple — Sannathi Street, North Car Street and East Car Street, were bad.
