Fifteen persons were injured in jallikattu at Mullipatti village in Pudukottai district on Friday. A total of 840 bulls were released during the event in which 300 tamers participated. Six among the injured were referred to the Pudukottai Government Medical College Hospital while the remaining nine were treated as out-patients at the venue. No prizes were announced during the event as the election norms were still in place, said police sources.
