All students of IIM Tiruchi get placement

Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirapalli, has achieved 100 per cent summer placements for the batch of 2015-17.

The drive for the batch saw participation of 51 recruiters, six more than the previous year, offering roles across sectors such as consulting, manufacturing, e-commerce, media, and advertisings.

There were diverse roles offered in exciting profiles such as strategy, consulting, and analytics, sales and marketing, operations, human resources, and IT/ITeS.

Some niche roles catering to the students’ interests were offered in product development, operations and strategic transaction group and investment banking.

All of the 102 participants have received offers, according to an IIM-Tiruchirapalli release.

World Bank, Dabur, HSBC, OgilvyOne, Deloitte, Mahindra, IOSCO, Kelloggs, Cognizant Business Consulting, ICICI Bank, Saint Gobain Glass, TAFE, Robert Bosch, L&T, FCB Ulka, Sulekha, YES Bank, Fidelity, Flex, RBS, TVS Motors, L&T, NCDEX, RBL, Shoppers Stop, Bajaj Allianz, Singhi Advisors, Last Mile Consultants, Ram-Nath & Co., Integra Software Services Pvt. Ltd and Novonous were among the prominent names that participated in the summer internship process.

According to a release, the highest international stipend offered for the internship period was Rs. 2.4 lakh. The highest domestic stipend was Rs.1.6 lakh.

The overall highest stipend recorded an increase of 71.4 per cent this year as compared to previous year.
