Special trains to Velankanni

Southern Railway will operate the following special trains to Velankanni from Ernakulam and Nagercoil as per the following schedule:

The Ernakulam-Velankanni weekly special train (Train No. 06015 ) will leave Ernakulam at 11 a.m. on Saturdays and reach Velankanni at 7 a.m. on the next day. The trains will be operated on Saturdays from August 3 to September 28.

The Velankanni-Ernakulam weekly special train (Train No. 06016 ) will leave Velankanni at 6.15 p.m. on Sundays and reach Ernakulam at 2 p.m. the next day. The trains will be operated on Sundays from August 4 to September 29.

The trains will halt at Thripunithura, Kottayam, Chenganasseri, Trivalla, Chenganur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam, Sasthankottai, Kollam, Kundra, Kottarakara, Auvaneeswaram, Punalur, Thenmalai, Sengottai, Tenkasi, Rajapalayam, Sivakasi, Virudunagar, Aruppukottai, Manamadurai, Karaikudi, Tiruchi, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.

The Nagercoil-Velankanni (Train No. 06094 ) weekly special train will leave Nagercoil at 2.25 p.m. on August 31 and September 7 and reach Velankanni at 3 a.m. the next day.

In the return direction, the Velankanni-Nagercoil weekly special train (Train No. 06095 ) will leave Velankanni at 10 p.m. on September 1 and 8 and reach Nagercoil at 11.05 a.m. the next day, a Southern Railway press release said.

The train will halt at Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, Tiruchi, Pudukottai, Karaikudi, Devakottai Road, Sivagangai, Manamadurai, Aruppukottai, Virudunagar, Satur and Kovilpatti, Tirunelveli and Valliyur.
