TDP candidate for Guntur Parliamentary constituency and former Minister Galla Aruna Kumari’s son, Galla Jayadev, started door-to-door campaign along with his family members here on Friday.
Draped in party’s scarf, Jayadev’s father Galla Ramachander Naidu, wife Galla Padma, son G. Siddharth, Jayadev’s sister Gourineni Ramadevi and her children – G. Vikram and G. Harsha – participated in the campaign. The industrialist-turned-politician walked into the shops at Brundavan Garden and urged the owners to vote for the TDP in the coming elections.
He asked the women to give their blessings for winning the polls with a thumping majority.
Warm welcomeMr. Jayadev, along with former Minister Alapati Rajendra Prasad, leaders Ch. Chitti Babu and others met the voters at roadside tea stalls, hotels, and shopping malls , drumming up support for the TDP for all-round development of Guntur Parliamentary segment. Women greeted Mr. Jayadev with ‘haratis’ when he visited houses in the colonies at Rajendra Nagar. He said that the development of Andhra Pradesh is possible only with the Telugu Desam Party .
“I have a vision for developing Guntur, which is hub for chilli, garments and tobacco exports. I will development the district into an industrial and education centre,” Mr. Jayadev promised.
