The Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (ALEAP) will set up a green industrial park in 50 acres at Gidijala in Anandapuram mandal, 45 km from here.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, in whose presence Industries Minister Amarnath Reddy and South Asian Women Development Forum president Pramila Acharya Rijal signed an MoU for allotment of five acres in the same area for the establishment of the Women Entrepreneur International Trade and Technology Hub (WITH), on Wednesday promised to give 50 acres for the proposed green industrial corridor.

The Hindu that the park would exclusively promote women entrepreneurs with common infrastructure and facilities. She said they would seek special grant from the World Bank for the project. The green industrial park is planned to be made a model and sustainable cluster of industries with associated facilities to encourage women entrepreneurs. ALEAP has plans to develop industrial parks at B.V. Palem in Nellore and Balabhadrapuram in East Godavari. With technical inputs from GIZ, GmbH, the master plan preparation for the new industrial parks has commenced.
