Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala on October 24 (Tuesday). She was accompanied by several TDP leaders and functionaries.
She offered prayers at the temple a day ahead of her ‘Nijam Gelavali’ yatra to protest the arrest of her husband in the skill development scam case and console the bereaved families of those who reportedly died due to agony in the aftermath of the arrest of the former Chief Minister, besides taking part in the locally arranged assemblies.
Later in the day, Ms. Bhuvaneswari also offered prayers to Nagallamma, the local deity at her husband’s native village Naravaripalli, 10 km from Tirupati, from where she is scheduled to embark on the yatra on October 25 (Wednesday).
