Nearly three weeks after being discharged from a hospital following a mild heart attack, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly, on Wednesday, was admitted to Apollo Hospital following a chest discomfort.
“Dr. Saptarshi Basu and Dr. Saroj Mondal are attending Ganguly. Dr. Aftab Khan will do the stenting tomorrow in the presence of Dr. Devi Shetty,” a senior doctor involved in Ganguly’s treatment said. A press statement from the hospital said,”There is no change in his parameters since his last hospitalisation and his vital parameters are stable”.
Ganguly was hospitalised on January 2 and underwent angioplasty the same day.
The former India Cricket captain was discharged from the hospital on January 7.
Anomalies observed
According to reports, the ECG (Electrocardiogram) on the 48-year-old cricket administrator showed some anomalies.
