Four new companies set up space at Cyberpark

Cyberpark, which aims to become the IT Hub of Kozhikode, is getting noticed by the IT fraternity with four companies setting up space at Sahya IT building at Thondayad here.

Minister for Labour T.P. Ramakrishnan on Tuesday opened the new company - Infinite Open Source Solutions LLP- in the first warm shell space at Sahya IT building, measuring 7,000 sq.ft. Hrishikesh Nair, CEO IT Parks, Kerala, was present. Three new companies have also logged into the Smart Business Centre at Sahya – Zinfog Codelabs Pvt. Ltd.; Limenzy Technologies Pvt. Ltd.; and Ontash India Technologies. Hrishikesh Nair inaugurated the Smart Business Centre.

Mr. Nair recalled that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had inaugurated 3-lakh sq.ft. space at Sahya a year ago. “With the four companies beginning operations, we have now eight companies operational with about 260 IT professionals working from here. In the next one month, another five companies will become operational and the total employee strength would be over 400,” he said.

He said that the interest by global companies in Cyberpark was testimony to the facilities offered here and how Kozhikode city was getting more IT friendly with providing world- class infrastructure that attracted global IT companies.

The UL Cyberpark adjacent to Government Cyberpark houses 33 companies in its 5-lakh sq.ft space with over 1,000 IT professionals working from here. Cyberpark also hosts the IAMAI Mobile 10X incubation centre to support app developers.
