‘Upgrade skills and re-work marketing strategies’

Bhimaraya Metri, Director of Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchi, has urged students of human resource management to take up studies in the field of artificial intelligence. Participating in a two-day seminar on National HR Conference on “Paradigm shift for Next Gen HR in VUCA World,” he said human resource professionals should upgrade skills and re-work their marketing strategies as artificial intelligence and robotics were being used extensively.

Chairman and Managing Director of NLC Rakesh Kumar said the human resource managers played an important role in the evolving business environment.

Effective strategies

Acknowledging the importance of human resource personnel, he said an organisation could grow only through their effective strategies.

The NLCIL management and the Neyveli chapter of the National Institute of Personnel Management have joined hands to prepare the human resource managers to keep up with the technological developments and changing scenario of modern management, a release from NLCIL said.
