The Karnataka High Court will deliver the verdict on May 11 on the appeals filed by the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, and three persons against a Special Court order convicting them in a disproportionate assets case.
Justice C.R. Kumaraswamy, who was specially assigned to hear the appeals, will pronounce the judgment at 11.00 a.m., a notification on the High Court website said. The judge had concluded the hearing on the appeals on March 11 and reserved the verdict.
The Supreme Court had set May 12 as deadline to pass the order.
Jayalalithaa and the three were sentenced to four-year prison term on September 27, 2014.
