The police have detained around 70 people while Section 144 (joining unlawful assembly) has been imposed in the area.

Policemen from various police stations have been deployed along with personnel from the Rapid Action Force. Apart from this, the peace committees constituted by the police have also been counselling the people.
The officers continue to take rounds of the entire Trikokpuri area with special vigil in blocks number 14,15, 20 and 27.
