Jannayak Janta Party leader Dushyant Chautala on Friday said his party was ready to support any political party in the State willing to take them along with the Common Minimum Programme. He said that 75% reservation in jobs to the youth in Haryana and increase in old age pension were on top of the party’s agenda.
“75% reservation in jobs to youth in Haryana and increase in old age pension is on top of our agenda. We are ready to try and form government with whichever political party agrees on these with a Common Minimum Programme,” said Mr. Chautala, addressing a press conference in Delhi after the party’s national executive meet.
He added that his party had “positive” attitude towards taking the State forward and to ensure that the youth get their rights.

The former Hisar Lok Sabha MP said that JJP still had the “key” to stable government in the state. He was replying to a question on his party’s role in the State since the BJP had already crossed the majority mark with the support of seven Independents and lone Haryana Lokhit Party MLA Gopal Kanda.
Mr. Chautala said that he could not make any decision on the matter earlier without meeting the national executive members.
Mr. Chautala said none of the parties had got the clear mandate in the State and there were suggestions from the national executive members on forming government with either of the two parties. He said that JJP had fought against both the BJP and Congress and it would be wrong to say that the mandate to them was against only BJP.

Mr. Chautala said most of the 15% votes polled by JJP in the assembly election came from young voters.
