Paramotoring launched at Padinjarekkara Beach

For a 10-minute flight, the DTPC charges ₹3,000

The District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) launched a paramotor sporting event at Padinjarekkara Beach between Ponnani and Tirur on Sunday.

Assistant Collector Vikalp Bharadwaj flagged off the event being organised in association with paragliding group Adventure. Visitors to the Padinjarekkara beach can enjoy paramotoring on Saturdays and Sundays.

For a 10-minute flight, the DTPC charges ₹3,000.

Apart from Mr. Bharadwaj, Income Tax Assistant Commissioner Sumit Balachandran, beach manager Salam Thanikkad, and paramotoring experts Sunil Hasan and Ibrahim Mohammed had a taste of paramotoring on the inaugural day.
