An India Against Corruption press conference here on Wednesday to release an ‘expose’ on Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries Limited saw a minor interruption when a man from the audience alleged that activist Arvind Kejriwal and his team were taking the country for a ride.

As the activist was addressing the media, alleging a nexus between politicians and corporate houses, the man got up and loudly asked why Mr. Kejriwal and his wife, an Indian Revenue Service officer, never got transferred for 30 years. However, that person was interrupted by mediapersons, who questioned his credentials to ask questions during a media briefing.

But Mr. Kejriwal urged the media as well as IAC activists to allow the person to ask the question and he would certainly answer it. The man, who did not identify himself but kept insisting that he was alone and not backed by anyone, was led out of the venue by IAC supporters.

Before resuming his briefing, Mr. Kejriwal said he expected such a disruption as IAC was exposing the corrupt and the powerful.
