The third best Indian university is the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), followed by IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur.

O P Jindal Global University is the top ranked private institutes among Indian universities and moved up from 701-750 ranking band to 651-700 band, followed by Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Amity University.

IISc Bengaluru is the world's top research university, achieving a perfect score of 100/100 for CpF, IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee and University of Madras are also global top-50 research institutions.
