Grant of bail to the Nilgiris MP and former Telecom Minister A.Raja by the special 2G court was greeted with cheer by DMK functionaries and cadres here on Tuesday.
As soon as the news was received supporters burst crackers and distributed sweets in various parts of the district including Ooty,Gudalur and Coonoor.
Some of the functionaries told The Hindu that a memorable welcome awaits Mr.Raja in this hill station.
