The verdict in the 2008 murders of teenager Aarushi Talwar and domestic help Hemraj at the former’s house in Noida would be pronounced on November 25.
A CBI court here on Tuesday reserved its order in the case.
The agency has made Aarushi’s parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar the accused in the case. Additional Sessions Judge Shyam Lal reserved the order after the final arguments by the defence of the accused couple concluded and the CBI submitted its rebuttal.
In the rebuttal, the prosecution told the court that the dentist couple had killed the two victims in May 2008 at their Noida residence.
Appearing for the CBI, special public prosecutor R.K. Saini told the court that all the circumstantial evidence were against the dentist couple and were pointing towards the role of Aarushi’s parents in the commission of the murder.
Listing some evidence, Mr. Saini said that no outsider had entered the house and Aarushi's body was tampered with.
Prosecution has maintained that Rajesh Talwar entered his daughter’s room to murder Aarushi and Hemraj both of whom were present there.
He added that the couple tried to mislead the court, but the defence rejected the CBI’s theories.
Some golf clubs seized from the Talwars’ residence were also produced before the court as evidence earlier.
