M.S. Dhoni supported the recent clampdown on bowlers with suspect actions.

“If you don’t have a good action, you have a slight advantage over the others. I feel no undue advantage should be given to anyone.

“I’m not someone who decides on that. It’s up to the ICC. I feel it’s a good decision to clamp it down,” he said.

“I’m not taking anybody’s name, but the general agenda of what I’m saying is it’s important to keep it (wrong actions) out of cricket.”

Dhoni also said there had to be consistency in dealing with the problem.

“It’s good the ICC is going hard. Just that they have to be consistent with it. We can’t really go ahead with the big names or small names. If somebody has a suspect action, it should be made sure he goes through all the corrections. Once he comes clean, he plays.”
